Pendry Park City: A Luxurious Alpine Escape

I had the opportunity to be pampered for my birthday at Pendry, Park City, one of the newer luxurious alpine escapes located in the heart of Canyons Village.  I have to say it was quite a great option for anyone seeking top notch service and luxurious accommodations that they have been accustomed to in Deer Valley for a little less of the price, want to try something new or have snowboarders in their group.  The whole Canyons Resort experience have upped their game since Vail Resorts had taken over.

I was warmly welcomed by the valet and bellmen as they took care of my luggage and checked me in.  Everyone I met was welcoming and never felt I had to search to find someone to serve our party.  We spent the afternoon at the rooftop pool and European inspired lounge where they made fabulous cocktails and ordered from their après menu.  They had a DJ that played music that every age enjoyed and kept things lively.  Afterward we headed Kita for the Japanese Wagyu and sushi where the waitstaff went above and beyond serving our guests and accommodating our birthday celebration.  We enjoyed lawn games outside such as cornhole and connect four then cozied up by the large firepit and a glass of wine as we gazed into the starlit sky.

I slept well in the plush bedding and modern amenities.  Everything was pristine and new.  Breakfast was delicious, I ordered the avocado smash and latte with once again great service.

I especially loved the location and the convenience of all the amenities.  I rented a mountain bike at their sports shop to explore some of trails directly from the hotel or an option is to take the lift up to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.  The car valet had my vehicle ready when I got back with waters to replenish our thirst.  From the moment we arrived until we reluctantly checked out, we were treated like a VIP, with every request promptly and attentively catered to.  Winter will be a whole other experience especially with the new 10-person gondola to truly make it feel like an exclusive ski/in, ski-out experience skipping the long lines at the base.  Contact me to learn more about full ownership at Pendry in Park City or other luxurious ski properties in the area.
